Whether it's our jobs, relationships, life choices, or education, we often feel pressure to pursue the "right path." But what if the right path for one person is not the right path for someone else? What if a linear path does not always lead to true success and fulfillment? Â
Â
Join us on Thursday, May 27th for a virtual workshop facilitated by Rebekah Bastian, CEO & Co-Founder of OwnTrail and author of Blaze Your Own Trail.Â
Rebekah will share her own non-linear career path as an entrepreneur, writer, artist, tech executive, mentor, wife, mother and aerial acrobat. During this workshop, you will reflect on the milestones that made you who are today and focus on the accomplishments you hope to achieve in the future.
Â
You will walk away from this workshop with:
Â
- A framework for reflecting on your personal narrative
- An ability to define and articulate your personal and professional goals
- An understanding of non-linear career paths
- A deeper connection to the members of the WIN community

In advance of our time together, please take a few moments to read Rebekah's article: How to Climb the Career Jungle Gym...While Constructing the Rungs.Â

What You’ll Need
- Laptop or desktop computer with functioning camera, microphone, and internet
- A nice quiet place to log in where you can actively speak and participate (we know it can be difficult to find a perfectly quiet spot at home, so all we ask is you do your best!)
-Â Zoom downloaded on your computer. Note--if you are unable to download Zoom, you can also join the link from your browser (Chrome or Edge work best). Please allow for an additional 5 minutes before the session starts to get it set up.Â
We highly recommend using a laptop or desktop for this session since we will be using Zoom to come together as a community. Please make sure you’ll be ready to use both services before the session begins.Â
Â
During these uncertain times we want to be flexible and give back more to our community. For this event we're asking for a suggested donation of $15 with the option to pay more as a way to support WIN.Â
If you are unable to pay for a session at this time but would like to attend, please email us at SF@womenininnovation.co so we can figure out the best way to support you.
